[OKGIS] Public Lecture by Dr. Michael Goodchild

Hello all,

In conjunction with the SPACE (Spatial Perspectives on Analysis for 
Curriculum Enhancement) workshop the University of Oklahoma Center for 
Spatial Analysis is pleased to announce a public lecture by Dr. Michael 
Goodchild entitled "What does Google Earth mean for the Social 
Sciences?".  Dr. Goodchild is Professor of Geography at the University 
of California, Santa Barbara and Director of the Center for Spatially 
Integrated Social Science. He is a member of the National Academy of 
Sciences and the American Academy of Arts & Sciences. His current 
research interests center on geographic information science, spatial 
analysis, the future of the library, and uncertainty in geographic data.
