SENIOR GIS DATA SPECIALIST

Association of Central Oklahoma Governments (ACOG)

ACOG, who manages the E9-1-1 system for 22 9-1-1 centers servicing 44
communities in the Oklahoma City metro area, is currently seeking applicants
for Senior GIS Data Specialist.

This position will provide project management with a vendor selected to
develop a regional 9-1-1 GIS system.  In addition, this position will then
oversee the long-term quality assurance of this accurate highly dynamic GIS
system.  Duties include:  updating and maintaining the agency’s 9-1-1 GIS
databases and dissemination and loading of data to the 9-1-1 call centers.

This position requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Geography,
Engineering, Planning, or related field.  Advanced degree in related fields
is preferred.  This position requires skills to develop technical solutions
for complex problems, establish, maintain and enhance working alliances with
city, county, regional and state agencies. Starting salary is $49,272 +,
depending upon qualifications.
