CN EMP FIRST CONSIDERATION
GIS APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER (R/FT)
Salary: BASED ON CN IS SALARY SCHEDULE IS4 ($17.45 - $26.44)

JOB SUMMARY: Participates in the design, development and implementation
of GIS web based and desktop software applications. Assists in
development of users manuals and instructs end users in usage of newly
developed applications. Evaluates usage of existing systems and
recommends changes to increase system usage and funtionality.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from 4-year college or
university in Geography, GIS, Earth Science, Computer Science, or
equivalent; or six years related experience; or equivalent combination
of education and experience. An additional six months of related
experience is required. Must be proficient with ArcInfo and other ESRI
tools. Must be familiar with RDBMS theory as it related to GIS. Must be
proficient with standard GIS database design, development and
conversion. Must have experience programming with VB/VBA, Java, HTML,
SQL, MS Access and Python. Must have knowledge of Windows operating
systems, web browsers, Visual Studio development tools, VML, ADO, ASP,
Access/SQL, OOP, IIS, Web scripting languages, Visio and MS Project.
