Job Requirements:

•	Degree in Geography or related field with specialty in GIS applications.
•	Minimum 3+ years GIS job-related experience.
•	Extensive knowledge and use of ESRI ArcGIS software, extension, and 
related products (including Spatial Analyst, and 3D Analyst).
•	Thorough knowledge of the geodatabase.
•	Demonstrated practical experience in project-related use and application 
of GIS software.
•	AutoCAD and/or Microstation experience considered beneficial.
•	Programming skills in ArcObjects, Visual Basic, and/or VB.Net are a plus.
•	Technical writing and verbal communication skills.
•	Ability to offer technical support to new GIS users.
•	Knowledgeable using MS Word, Excel, and other office software/data 
management packages.
•	Possession of a valid driver’s license.

Department Preference:

This is a full-time/exempt GIS Specialist position with The Benham 
Companies, LLC to be based within the Infrastructure and Environment 
Division.  This position is responsible for creating GIS group support to 
Benham staff and for on-site support to Benham clients.

Working Conditions:

•	Workweek is 40 hours per week and may occasionally exceed that amount.
•	Based out of Tulsa.  May be required to work on-site at various client 
locations.
•	Field tasks will require frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
•	Office tasks will require sitting and working at a desk on a computer and 
operating various forms of office equipment.

Physical Requirements:

•	Manual and finger dexterity enough to operate personal computer and 
10-key.
•	Vision enough to read, write, and prepare data on a computer screen, etc.
•	Hearing enough to understand and communicate by telephone and in person.
•	Speech enough to communicate clearly and distinctly by telephone and in 
person with all levels of employees within the Company.
