[OKGIS] Hospitals data layer

Here is the layer of hospitals that I geocoded from addresses in our licensing database. The metadata describes the data source and what facilities are not included in this list. The hospitals in the database include both general acute hospitals and some specialty hospitals. There is a field added called ManEdit that indicates that I manually moved the hospital point features for those that had very poor geocoding results. Feel free to contact me if you see any problems with this layer or if you have questions about the data.

Abstract: This dataset represents hospital facilities in the state of Oklahoma that are licensed by the Oklahoma State Health Department. It was geocoded from address data obtained from the state hospital licensing database and provided by the Health Care Information office at the State Health Department. The dataset does not include IHS hospitals, VA hospitals or psychiatric hospitals. The data is current as of November 16, 2006.
Purpose: This dataset was developed to be used as a reference for planning and an input for spatial analysis that does not require a high level of spatial accuracy.
