[OKGIS] FW: Question on a data layer

The Oklahoma GAP Analysis data layers (raster format), which include a
distribution of land cover types in Oklahoma, would be the best way to go.
They were available for download from the Spatial and Environmental
Information Clearinghouse, but the site appears to be temporarily down.

The data can be ordered on a 5 CD set from the Oklahoma
<http://www.biosurvey.ou.edu/gap-ok.html> Biological Survey, though.

Mr. Tollett here is seeking a vegetation layer. What would be the best
source for such data?

Subject: Question on a data layer

Good Morning Mr. Wheelock,

I was wondering if you knew who I should contact concerning a
shapefile/datalayer of the vegetation for the State of Oklahoma (or if one
even exists). Any information or direction you could provide would be most
appreciated.

Have a Great Day!
