Subject: Summer 2007 GIS courses at SIPI

Here is the schedule of classes for this coming Summer’s GIS short courses:

 

The week of:

June 11-15        GIT 202 Remote Sensing

June 25-29        GIT 203 Photogrammetry

July 9-13           GIT 111 Introduction to GIS/GPS

July 16-20         GIT 121 Advanced GIS/GPS

July 23-27         GIT 290 Special Topics: GIS for Hydrology applications

July 30-Aug 3    GIT 201 Applied GIS Theory

Aug 13-17         GIT 290 Special Topics: Fundamentals of GPS

 

As always, these courses are free to any tribal member or anyone working for a tribe.  There is a $20 fee for materials that must be paid in advance.  If the attendee is wanting college credit, he/she must follow the Application Requirements for becoming a SIPI student (http://192.168.2.12/acadprog/admiss/ including paying the applicable fees).  The individual’s agency is responsible for travel, meals, lodging.
