GIS Specialist, Natural Resources

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Parsons is currently seeking a Geographic Information System (GIS)
Specialist for a position Midwest City, Oklahoma.  A successful employee
will be self motivating with a commitment to quality. Interested
candidates should be prepared to submit references and a graphic sample.


REQUIREMENTS:
B.S. degree in Geography, Biology, Geology or related science
Minimum 2 years of related work experience using ArcGIS and other ESRI
software, GPS units, and familiarity with SDSFIE a plus.  
Editing and populating GIS datasets and databases; integrating and
standardizing map data and natural environment data collection
Knowledge of cartographic principles, GIS standards and metadata and
coordinate systems
Specialization in Natural Resources management preferred
