In the properties of the layer change Red to Band 2 and Green to Band 1.
That helps a little to make it look more like natural color.

Subject: [OKGIS] Color Infrared to False Color

I have some color infrared photography and I'd like to display it with more
natural looking color. It's in three bands. I don't know if that's typical
or not. When I pull it into ArcMap the default settings causes green
foliage to appear red.

Does anyone have an ArcMap layer file or know if there are settings to give
it more naturally looking color?

Thanks,
David
