Senior GIS Data Specialist 

This position oversees the 9-1-1 Geographic Information System (GIS), the public-safety "base map", and related databases for the Central Oklahoma regional 9-1-1 system. This position is responsible for quality control, importing and exporting of data, tuning, fault tolerance, documentation, scripts, metadata, testing, prototyping and office functions supporting the goals and objectives of the regional 9-1-1 GIS system. 

Responsibilities of the job include project management implementation and maintenance of GIS projects which will contribute to current and future product/services from a public-safety perspective. The ability to utilize various advanced software applications, solid interpersonal skills, experience working as a part of a team, and strong organizational skills are required. Position requires providing technical assistance to staff and non-technical personnel in the use of GIS, E9-1-1 databases, G PS , Computer Aided Dispatch and related technologies and tools.
