Position: Research Assistant/Intern in E911 and Public Safety Programs

ACOG, a regional planning agency, has an opening for a part-time* research 
assistant/intern in the E911 and Public Safety Programs Department. This person 
will be responsible for data manipulation and mapping, and will assist in the 
preparation of regional/local 911maps. Specific requirements include the 
ability to: research, organize and write reports; manipulate graphic and 
tabular data; use Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word software; and perform 
mathematical calculations. Knowledge of ArcGIS is required. Knowledge of 
Autodesk Map 2007 is helpful. Requires three years undergraduate study in 
Planning, Geography, Engineering, or related field. 

* Full-time work available during the summer months.

Starting salary is $13.00 – $15.00/hr
