Hello OKGIS people!
I posted my interest in relocating to the Tulsa area in early
October and received many very warm and welcoming responses. As
you might imagine, since I live in Missoula Montana, it is fairly
difficult to job hunt in Tulsa. However I am going to be in the
Tulsa area over Christmas and New Years visiting family. If anyone
would like to meet with me during my visit about potential job
openings please don't hesitate to contact me at vu_loki at yahoo dot
com. I'll re-post my qualifications for those that may be interested.
Thanks!
Willard Gustafson
I have a Masters degree in Geography from The University of
Montana with an emphasis in GIS and Cartography. I have over 10
years working experience using the full range of ESRI products
including ArcInfo and it's various modules, ArcMap, ArcView, etc.
As well as Erdas/Leica Imagine, Leica Photogrammetry Suite, and
eCognition. I have primarily been involved in remote sensing
applications such as vegetation mapping using Landsat and SPOT
imagery lately, however I am proficient in a multitude of image
processing techniques and applications.
I am currently employed at The University of Montana-Spatial
Analysis Lab as a Satellite Imagery Analyst/Projects Manager. I
write proposals, prepare budgets and work plans, coordinate
workloads with available staff, prepare final reports and
deliverables, and present results to funding agencies and
cooperators. If you would like a current position description you
can get one at:
