[OKGIS] ArcGIS training - not a competition but an alternative

For someone like myself that is pretty much a complete novice, this would be 
too intense and too fast.  For someone that has "stumbled" into a GIS 
position and works with GIS people, this is probably a good deal.

But for a novice like myself, I am taking an introductory course at Tulsa 
Community College.  It is called GIS 2344, Intro to Geographic Info System.  
Meets twice a week.  The course and two books bring the cost to more than 
$500.

Something to pass along to those interested in GIS.
