1. Introduction to the ArcGIS interface and basic tools
2. Display maps and data
3. Symbolize and classify features
4. Create labels and annotation
5. Query data to obtain information about features
6. Analyze relationships between features
7. Create and edit features and attributes
8. Present data through maps and graphs
