There's also the township and section grid at CSA at OU. http://geo.ou.edu/DataFrame.htm <http://geo.ou.edu/DataFrame.htm>   I believe it's digitized from 100k.  It might be useful depending on the accuracy required. ---------------- From: okgis-bounces at gis.gis.ou.edu [mailto:okgis-bounces at gis.gis.ou.edu] On Behalf Of K C SpainSent: Thursday, January 17, 2008 9:14 AMTo: Oklahoma GIS CommunitySubject: RE: [OKGIS] landgrid
No, your absolutely right about that. I knew about it being, I guess I’d call it “face data”, nothing behind it, AT ALL. At this point I’m willing to deal with not having the attributes in the tables if It is somehow possible to make the “sticks” display correctly, that is until I can convince my super that I need better data. Lol. as far as the labels go, that’s a whole other problem. I think this is how I will convince my super that I need better data, huh? ---------------- From: okgis-bounces at gis.gis.ou.edu [mailto:okgis-bounces at gis.gis.ou.edu] On Behalf Of Chad CooperSent: Thursday, January 17, 2008 8:59 AMTo: Oklahoma GIS CommunitySubject: RE: [OKGIS] landgrid Be careful with data exported from Petra. Do they have any attributes in the tables? The Sect and Twp might just be sticks with no data. ---------------- From: okgis-bounces at gis.gis.ou.edu [mailto:okgis-bounces at gis.gis.ou.edu] On Behalf Of K C SpainSent: Thursday, January 17, 2008 8:45 AMTo: Oklahoma GIS CommunitySubject: RE: [OKGIS] landgrid Yes there are several others. I exported these particular 4 from Petra. Would I actually be better off to find my own data elsewhere rather than getting it from there? ---------------- From: okgis-bounces at gis.gis.ou.edu [mailto:okgis-bounces at gis.gis.ou.edu] On Behalf Of Robert StokesSent: Thursday, January 17, 2008 8:36 AMTo: Oklahoma GIS CommunitySubject: RE: [OKGIS] landgrid Are there any other datasets in the feature dataset? In ArcMap, I selected to “add data” and added the feature dataset called “Landgrid”. I have checked the projection of all 4 of the feature classes, and they appear to correctly match the projection of the data frame. However, I am unable to display any of them on my map with out selecting “zoom to layer”. What am I doing wrong? K.C. Spain Tech. Asst. Stephens Production Co. 623 Garrison Ave., P.O.
