I looked for the data also, but couldn't find how it was made. When I
needed to use the symbolization, I just created the cad drawing and used
it as a template. If you know of someone with some programming
knowledge who could automate the process, that would be amazing. If you
would like, I can send you the cad file no problem.

Paul,
I searched high and low after seeing this in an esri story a few years
ago. I thought it was done in an esri product. Is it possible to get the
cad drawing? Is ther any automation with the data or is each symbol
created manually?
Thanks
Brad

Los Alamos National Laboratory did something similar to this with a
point feature created from Autocad. The symbol was concentric circles
to show depth and dividers to show the years that the information was
taken. I've done a little draw up for you to look at. Is this what you
had in mind? Paul

so a little help would be great. I need to symbolize a point layer
by date & depth. I need the depth to be graduated sizes and the date to
be different colors. Any suggestions? Thanks, Nick Nick Nelson
