Hi All,

The easiest thing to do is to go ahead and install EPA's BASIN (Better
Assessment Science Integrating Point & Nonpoint Sources) from
http://www.epa.gov/waterscience/basins/.

Once you install the tool, you can select any watershed in the nation and
then download all sorts of great data (including gage data). The nice thing
is that the tool grabs the data for you so you don't have to worry about
figuring out where all the gages are located. BASINS includes lots of other
data (land cover, NPDES permits etc ) as well and models that you can run
(SWAT, HSPF).
