Subject: [OKGIS] May Meeting of the State GI Council
Greetings GIS Users of Oklahoma:
The May meeting of the State Geographic Information Council will be held
Friday, May 2 at 10:30 a.m. in the Second Floor Conference Room of the
Water Resources Board Building (3800 North Classen, OKC). The agenda
for the meeting has been attached for your review.
The meeting will feature the presentation "Using Sampling, HEM and GIS
to Locate Water Salinity Problems in South Oklahoma Oilfields" by
Patricia Billingsley of the OK Corporation Commission. The presentation
will highlight the Corporation Commission's work with stream sampling, a
helicopter electromagnetic survey and GIS to show relative locations and
depths of salinity sources in areas located in south central Oklahoma.
The GI Council meetings are open to the pubic and we encourage any one
who uses GIS or has an interest in GIS to attend.
We look forward to seeing you on the 2nd!
Have a great day!
