If you end up having to geocode, you might consider looking into the polling
places Shapefile for no-matches because many polling places are schools.

CSA has referred me in the past to the GNIS data for school locations.  I
don't have the data or link handy (I'm out of the office today) but maybe a
CSA folk can chime in and direct you to the data.  I'm hoping to work on
developing this layer a little better for the Health Department but haven't
gotten to it yet.  I'd love to know if someone else has worked on this for
Oklahoma.

I am looking for a shapefile of actual school locations in Oklahoma for a
project.   The OK Department of Education has a spreadsheet on their website
with all of the school's addresses but it doesn't appear that they it in a
GIS format.  If anyone happens to have that file or has a contact for
someone who might have already geocoded those addresses please let me know.

 

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
