Ben,

I think that you have raised a good question.  Just this morning, we
initiated discussion in GIS Council about developing a set of "rules" for
appropriate content for the OKGIS list server, and this issue you've
identified is certainly one of the considerations.  I am planning to bring
proposed guidelines to the Council's May meeting for discussion and
hopefully resolution.

Thanks for your input.  We'll keep you informed of developments.
