I would never discourage anyone from taking the OCCC GIS Program. Since I
cannot travel to OKC on a regular
basis, I am taking the GIS Masters Program (Certification is available as
well) from Penn State University. It has
been very good. I would recommend it to anyone.

Please respond to [okgis] Oklahoma State Regents for
okgis@gis.ou.edu Higher Education approved OCCC GIS
Program.
Hello GIS Community,
I wanted to update everyone on the new GIS Program at Oklahoma City
Community College.
I want to thank everyone that served on our planning committee last year.
It has been a long and rewarding process.
The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education approved our request to
offer an AAS degree and a Certificate in Geographic Information System
(GIS). The degree plans can be viewed online.
