This is a great way to send alerts with respect to
updates. It can be used beyond aerial photographs and online maps.
If someone uploads individual photos of a site at which they are working, the
tag would alert specific people that work has begun or is completed. This
would allow real-time (or close to real-time) updates on a project. Sheila Sheila Wilson, Ph.D. Executive Director PODS Association, Inc www.pods.org sheila.wilson AT pods.org 918-246-9343 866-460-7637 If everything could be different,

is the step in between what I was talking about and yesterday). I see
photo/map tagging as the next up and coming gis/social networking/work
related technology. I can see tagging aerial photos and online maps with
related work information, moving social networking more into work
"networking" Someone needs to start working on a pyramid solution
for showing tags as one at different zoom resolutions, and
spreading them as the zoom gets smaller. Can you imagine coming to the office and seeing
dynamically updated tags on a map showing where field changes have occurred,
ready for acceptance into the database? Other uses? What are your thoughts?
