Thanks for posting this Mike. I've just been informed
that they will extend the deadline to February 12th. Also, they only need
to know for sure that there will be a partner by that date. An alternate
contact is Bridget Barlow, the partnership coordinator for the Aerial
Photography Field Office. Her contact information is:

Barlow From: Mike Sharp [mailto:mike.sharp AT conservation.ok.gov] Sent: Wednesday, January 27, 2010 1:47 PM To: okgis AT orion.csa.ou.edu Subject: [okgis] Oklahoma 2010 NAIP We just received notice that USDA
will be acquiring 1-meter natural color, leaf-on, statewide aerial photography
this year, Spring 2010. If there is an interest in acquiring CIR (color
infra-red, Band 4) in conjunction with the other 3 bands, then USDA will need a
commitment from partner/partners to fund the 10% cost-share amount of $ 103,523.
Unfortunately, the deadline for that commitment is January 31, 2010. Bill
James, our USDA contact, is checking to see if that deadline can be
extended. If you or someone you know has a
serious interest along with financial resources to fund the acquisition of the
CIR band, please contact Bill ASAP at bill.james AT ok.usda.gov. The next scheduled flight for NAIP
photography is 2013. Mike Sharp Acting State Geographic Information
